Photography – Cincinnati
I am a proudly self-taught artist and photographer from Cincinnati, OH.
I began my photography career after hitting rock bottom chasing what I originally thought I was meant to do. I bought my first camera as a means to get myself out of the house again, something to hide behind. I soon found I had a real talent for finding the beauty, in a world that had become so ugly to me. It became a transition, a new calling, for which I discovered I was truly meant.
I produce my work without prior intention and allow the emotion to direct where it goes. It becomes a journey full of discovery as I follow my feelings, not knowing where my pieces\' final destination lies. This concept allows me to be able to produce something wonderful, from common, everyday scenes. It is an ability to make the mundane and forgotten shine again, personifying the notion of \"Sometimes you have to really look, but life is beautiful\".
