Jacqueline is a Southern California native and abstract expressionist painter. With an emphatic heart and sensitive approach, she paints psychologically and spiritually dense canvases with raw energy and impulsive emotion. Jacqueline enjoys utilizing an array of classic painting tools as well as homemade utensils including her own hands. These tools allow her to apply gestural brushstrokes and organic shapes onto the canvas. She is well-known for her rhythmic layering and repetitive application of vibrant colors. Currently she is experimenting with found objects for her collage artworks. Her unconventional methods of abstract painting and collage work provide her with the vehicle to channel her inner psyche onto the canvas. As she often says: “You are not just buying a painting. You are buying a process. You are collecting an emotional journey.”
