Photography – Phoenix
I am completely self-taught when it comes to photography, although I do have a college degree in business. In the early years of my learning curve, I would browse other local photographers’ work that I admired and invite them to coffee for brain picking sessions. I’ve been blessed with meeting so many talented people! My business background has been invaluable because this is definitely a business and if you don’t lay the proper foundation, it doesn’t matter how good you are, you will fail.
I love and still shoot lots of other things, but I decided to specialize in boudoir photography and built my own 1500 sq. foot studio. One\'s sexuality should be celebrated rather than discouraged and this is my way of showing women how to love their bodies, be fearless, and have a finished product they can gift or just keep for themselves. Boudoir is an expression of one’s inner self, so for a woman to be vulnerable and show such an intimate side of themselves to me, is a trust I don\'t take lightly.
My goal is to do more artistic expression and fine art nudes. The human body has been the subject of great artists for centuries, and I guess I can be added to the list of admirers. There’s just a freedom of the mind and body when you truly allow yourself to be uninhibited and fearless.
