Visual Art – Boston

According to my mom, I started making art when I was a baby, when she found me drawing tiny circles on my high chair with a pen. I've been making art ever since. I mostly work in watercolor and acrylic and really enjoy doing projects that involve the intense observation of texture, color, and light. I use painting as a way to immerse myself in the rich details of seemingly "simple" things that are easy to overlook (like twigs and dead leaves). The beauty of these little moments moves me deeply and I want to share that experience with others. Painting is the best way that I know how to do that. In addition to my "fine art" pieces, I also paint commissioned works for clients throughout the country, and do illustration and occasional surface pattern designs.
