Visual Art – Chicago

Jade Masters (b. June 14th 1978 US) Jade's unique style in art and business all derive from her many different curiosities and career choices. Not being one for sitting still and waiting for opportunities, Jade was always working multiple jobs, taking different courses of studies and being mentored by anyone willing to share their knowledge. Jade's needs to feed her curiosity for how things work lead her to many valuable lessons in construction, hard work and independents. As a petite young girl her experiences in life were never easy. Being surrounded in a male dominate world; this was the driving force of proving "the naysayers" wrong kept her moving forward while saying her favorite motto "Just Watch Me" Jade's self-motivated mentality lead her too many management positions while owning businesses of her own. With a passion for entrepreneurship Jade began studying Business and Fine Arts at the International Academy of Design and Technology, Photography at The Art Institute, Personal Development at TofA Trainging and Creativity in Business with the famed Stanford University Personal Transformation Master’s Degree Course. In college is where her passion for her eco-friendly art became an addiction. She interned at galleries, worked construction for her materials, apprenticed with well-known preforming artists and after shopping her portfolio around was told "No" by all the Fine Art Galleries. So Jade did what Jade does best; she got more jobs and saved to open Jade Masters Art Gallery and Lounge. At JMAG she mentored up and coming artists and created the JMAG family. Today Jade is considered a creative expert in her combining of mixed media with traditional painting techniques. Her medium of salvaged materials to create unique, thought provoking works of art are both desirable and masterful. Her use of broken glass provides a tactile surface intriguing the viewer to touch to experience fully.
