Visual Art – New York - Brooklyn
I am a Brooklyn based Textile Designer and Artist. After graduating college with a degree in Textiles from the Rhode Island School of Design, I relocated to New York to pursue a career as a knitwear designer and continue my personal studio practice. My work takes on many forms and functions, from wearable clothing to sculptural instillations to painting. I am driven by concepts and create collections of clothing, paintings or sculptures that investigate ideas ranging from gender identity to neuroscience to fairy tales. While I am driven by these concepts to make, I am equally motivated by the exploration and pushing the boundaries of materials and technical processes.
