James Thurman

I started out doodling comics when i was just a little kid probably about 6 or 7, and eventually that love transfered into the canvas. I received my BFA in 2004 from Southeast Missouri State. I showed in various venues around the area and curated many as well with other local artists. I was in a few juried shows including one in New York City. I enjoy making people smile and laugh with my artwork. I got married in 2010 to my lovely wife Ashley, who is another artist, she\'s a fiber artist. We met at Southeast while taking art classes together. And together we have a son, Tucker.
