Beauty – San Diego

I was born to a German/Norwegian father and a Filipino mother, who I am very lucky to have always been so supportive of my passion of art since I was born. I was able to read at a very early age and read about art history and biographies of various artists as well as anything else I could get my hands on. This helped me to study various art styles, practice technique in painting, sketching and drawing. It consumed me and I learned to connect it to writing. As I got older, my passion grew and I pushed my boundaries. I was gifted in foreign language and have studied 5 different languages, knowing Spanish and Tagalog. I learned to surf and have swam competitively all my life, and it was a way to just enjoy the water and connect with every movement and I’ve traveled to South Korea and to the Philippines. I’m also a trained fighter, having been trained in Tae Kwon Do and Muay Thai and although that sounds intimidating to a lot of people, I’ve also been giving back to the community through non profit organizations almost all my life. I was always involved in youth groups that mainly focused on giving back. Now that I’m older, I’m involved with Cuties for a Cause, helping give back to local causes in San Diego, which is cool since we’re all pinups. My heart lies in American history during WW2 and I find the 1960s fascinating.
