"Paint with your Heart, not with your mind "is my mantra. I consider myself very lucky to have painting as a form of expression. My skills were developed at an early age, inspired by my talented parents. I’m self-taught and find it fascinating to explore and learn new techniques. My inspiration is the human heart, I feel the urge to portray emotional landscapes, my own or other’s and to explore regions of the heart where both you and I are afraid to go..... Born in 1975 in Slovakia(former Czechoslovakia) Growing up under communist regime, participating in the revolution, which caused it's demise, I acquired a plethora of life experiences. At age of 19, a year after graduating from a nursing school, I got the opportunity to move to US, and without hesitation, I left all behind, even my family for a New Country, which offers so many opportunities. All of these events have given me a broader scope and helped to shape my inner-self. Enjoying my self freedom I have found.... I cherish the fact I am able to express my mind and feelings through art (something impossible under the grim atmosphere of communism, in the land of pipe dreams).
