Jazz

Performing Art – Los Angeles

Jazz Washington began her dance training at the age of three, studying at Expressions Dance Theatre, Structures Dance Academy, and Duke Ellington School of the Arts. She is an AMDA Dance theatre major graduate where she performed extensively and had the chance to choreograph. Her favorite roles are Older Nala, Scarecrow, and Wickersham Brother #1, and working with renowned artists Patti Labelle, Diggy Simmons, George Faison, and Ledisi. One of Jazz’s favorite memories in dance is making up silly moves in her company rehearsals back home in DC. She dreams of having a European-based Contemporary dance company and playing leading roles on Broadway. When she isn't dancing, Jazz enjoys a good book and cleansing her chakras during meditation.
