Jewelry design was never a goal of mine, but rather an aesthetic channel that I found by default. When accessorizing my senior collection Modern Gem, I wanted everything that went down the runway to be a part of me. I made jewelry for each look and loved the pieces so much I adopted them into my personal style repertoire. After being asked to sell a piece off of my body by a complete stranger and being regularly encouraged to launch my line to the public, I set my sights on jewelry and have not looked back. I am inspired by the way a piece of jewelry can manipulate a look and even a mood; it is transformative. There are many ways to make a woman feel beautiful and jewelry is one of them. It defies time and age. My jewelry consists of vintage gold chain and pendants, semi precious stones, and a relatively neutral color palette. The pieces range from short single strand necklaces to wearable chain garments. It is vintage inspired and modern in design - simplicity that makes a statement. Its all about emotion. In a white tee I feel natural. In a white tee and 3-tiered vintage Chanel gold pendant necklace I feel naturally stunning. It is the emotional transformation that inspires me to create, and it is the particular emotion I hope to evoke that guides my design.
