Visual Art – Indianapolis

I was born in January 1976 in Central Indiana. Within my first two years it was discovered that I had a genetic neuromuscular disease that was going to hinder my independence for life as I function depending daily on my power wheelchair. However, because of enthusiastic support of my family and a positive attitude towards life, I have been able to live a productive life. From the beginning, I always had an interest in visual arts. Spending hours at a time drawing and painting at home, I developed an appreciation for self-expression at a young age. However, throughout my early years I noticed changes in my strength and it became more difficult for me to use traditional methods to develop my art. This is when I began to experiment and seek out new methods of expression. Through my searching, the digital method was introduced and stays true today.
