Visual Art – Boston
My name is Jessica Danskin, I graduated from Montserrat College of Art with my Bachelor of Fine Arts. I grew up in the small, scenic city of Gloucester, Massachusetts where almost all my family grew up too. Many people know it from the movie “The Perfect Storm”, but it actually has a very lively art community. As a kid I was always drawing or sculpting little animals or painting some little ceramic piece my great grandmother picked up for me. When I got to high school I kept a sketchbook religiously. Then I started making my drawings with clay in my ceramics class. As I was preparing for college, I decided that I wanted to be an illustrator and became very focused on making that my career. When I actually got to college I realized that there was so much more to it.
