Visual Art – Vancouver
Judy Anne D. Galdones is a self taught, Filipino-Canadian visual artist based in Vancouver. She focuses her acrylic and oil paintings on subjects of nature and contemporary abstract style. However, every now and then she will revisit her first subject of love in the arts - implied nude. Through her variety of subject studies coupled with life’s experiences, she has learned to become more intuitive - knowing how to free her emotions and unconsciously transferring that energy on canvas. Looking past through each subject, each color, each stroke is a deeper story in itself - one that she hopes serves as a reminiscence of a different time from another’s looking glass. Ultimately, one that touches not only the mind of her viewers but also, the heart.
