Some would say the comedic stylings of Jenny Zigrino is Sassy, Brassy, and Classy. Her keen obersvations, adorable wit and explosive stage presence will capture your attention and make laughter shoot from your nose like a mucousy water cannon. Jenny Zigrino has been performing nationally in clubs, colleges, and festivals. Jenny recently featured for national acts like Tom Green (MTV), Gilbet Gottfriend (Comedy Central, MTV) and Josh Blue (Last Comic Standing, Comedy Central). She's also work with great comics like Eddie Brill, Bonnie MacFarlane, Maria Bamford, Joe Wong, and Carole Montgomery. She was featured in the Funny Females Showcase at the Boston Comedy Festival , hosted for the Women in Comedy Festival (2010 and 2011) and Magners Comedy Festival 2011. This year she was a festival favorite at the North Carolina Comedy Arts Festival. She is featured on local television shows such as the internationally syndicated Steve Katsos Show and also in GO Magazine (Airtran inflight magazine). Examiner.com raves, " The consistency of her humor and improvisational skills throughout the show kept the audience in stitches all night." while Big Sauce Radio says, "This petite comic throws quite a punch, and will have you clutch your stupid laughing." She MC's as her alter-ego LIZ FANG for Boston's local burlesque troupe Rogue Burlesque. They have been called one of the best Burlesque troupes in Boston by Citysearch.com and are nominated as Boston's Best Burlesque troup in the Phoenix Boston's "Best of Boston" 2011. Her short films have been in festivals such as the Nor'Easter Film and Video Festival and was awarded "Official Selection" for Other Side Shorts Film Festival. She took 1st place in the Catch a New Rising Star Competition and was honored to be April 2010's Comic in Residence at the famed Comedy Studio in Cambridge, MA.
