Visual Art – Salt Lake City

I have always been involved in fine arts, having received a Bachelor of Arts in vocal performance. I have become prolific as an abstract artist, and paint over fifty pictures annually. Experimentation and exploration of vibrant colors, unusual materials, and intriguing textures invite viewers to lose themselves in my paintings. Collectors not only in Utah, but also from California to Rhode Island, own my work. I am a self-taught artist. I have had solo shows at Art at the Main and House Gallery in Salt Lake City; and have exhibited works at several Salt Lake City venues. The past two years, I have also had work in the Art Access “300 Plates” show. I was born in Osawatomie, Kansas, and have lived in several states. I became a studio artist in 2006 after leaving a corporate career.
