Ever since I can remember, I have always looked at the world differently than most. I realized early on that the world is our playground and we have the privilege to explore as much of it as we can while we are alive. Life can be thought of as a series of goals to obtain and a checklist to be checked off or life can be thought of as a journey. I view life as a continual journey and I use photography as my way of sharing my perspective. Sometimes that ends up with taking pictures of the cuteness of a baby learning to interact with the world. Other times I am completely amazed by the vastness of an ocean or the biggest redwood tree I have ever seen. Regardless of the subject I am capturing, I aim to share a different perspective, a different viewpoint, a unique way of looking at (sometimes) the most ordinary subjects in the most extraordinary ways. I am not much into photo manipulation or photoshopping my images (probably due to my film photography background). So pretty much what you see is what you get.
