Jessie Ortega

I am an artist, and enjoy creating art in all forms and all mediums. My background includes art courses in figure drawing, oil/acrylic on canvas, indoor/outdoor murals, ink, pencil, charcoal... If it can be used to make art, I am all about it! I have recently fallen in love with Face & Body Art, and have had the opportunity to learn and practice some amazing Makeup techniques from international Face & Body artists. Airbrushing for special makeup effects is something that I really enjoy doing, and I am very passionate about furthering my skills in this art form. I currently own and operate my business as Face Painting Dreams, based in Sandy, Utah. I have had great success as a face painter for parties, corporate events, promotional/marketing stunts, halloween and costume makeup, photo shoots, among other applications. I would love to seek out opportunities to do live body painting on a stage! I think that would be so much fun. I am married and have four young children, a cat, and a Pug puppy. I also love gardening and growing my own food, raising chickens, photography, hiking, going on dates with my husband, chatting with good friends, you know, the normal stuff :-)
