Jessica’s creative practice spans a wide-range of mediums and her artistic work reflects her curiosity with social and political issues. “I am engrossed in working with an extensive range of materials and the context of research surrounding the production of my work affects what materials I decide to select,” she says. Her achievements include ‘Best Painting’ at the Darlington Arts festival 2011 and took out the ‘Best Student Entry’ and ‘Best traditional Photograph’ categories of the Gingers Garage Urban Princess Photography Competition 2008. To date, her work has featured in WA Today, on the cover of Tattoos Down Under magazine, Fashion WA, Style Discovery, Xpress Magazine, Midland Community Newspaper and Perth Fashion Festival’s official blog - Style Voyeur.
