She captures real life experiences and emotion within her songs. She has been writing her own original music since she was 14 years old but the music started when she was just a little girl. As soon as she could, she started singing and playing along side her father, who is her biggest musical influence to this day. When he passed, she wanted to make him proud by creating her own album and she did just so. JESS just released her first official acoustic EP Called, “Nobody” which she recorded, mixed and mastered herself. She has performed at many venues locally and nationally and has been hired for many private events because of her unique sound and talent. With this experience, not only does she perform her own original music but she covers artists ranging from Pink to Pink Floyd! She has her own unique sound and playing style but some of her influences are; Adele, Lana Del Rey, Kimbra, Lorde, Alanis Morissette, Ani Difranco, Janis Joplin, Imogen Heap, Sade and many other creative and unique female musicians. Current Pop Artists, Past Rock Legends and many other successful Singer/Songwriters inspire JESS to keep creating her music to sell to other musicians or to perform on her own.
