Music – New York - NYC

I\'m a singer/songwriter originally from Philly, now living in NY. I\'ve been playing piano and singing since I was a little girl - my mom and dad actually met playing in a band, so music has always been in my blood. I picked up a guitar in high school, and songwriting quickly became one of the greatest passions of my life. I went to conservatory, studied classical voice, and after earning my degree, I moved to NY to pursue my career as a musician. I\'ve released several albums and EPs independently, and I\'m currently in the studio working on a new record. I\'ve had the honor of sharing the stage with such notable artists as Joan Osborne, Loudon Wainwright III, Antigone Rising, Chris Trapper, and Amber Rubarth. Some of my favorite venues I\'ve played include Rockwood Music Hall (NYC), World Cafe Live (Philly), and Sellersville Theater (PA), and I was very excited to be chosen to play this summer\'s Falcon Ridge Folk Festival (upstate NY) on the prestigious Emerging Artist Stage. Some other favorite musical ventures include co-founding NY pop a cappella group The Lost Keys, recording a new album with vocal group October Project (coming this fall), arranging jingles for Heineken, and doing a podcast with sock puppet Lolly Lardpop, a creation of puppeteer Leslie Carrara-Rudolph, the voice, heart, and soul of Sesame Street\'s Abby Cadabby.
