Photography – Melbourne
Jill Velinos is a self taught, creative photographer who is influenced by a wide range of photographic and artistic styles. Currently, she is inspired by her immediate surroundings which is children and nature based. With an interest in both fine art and photography, Jill is exploring this form of creative expression by combining the two. For the RAW Melbourne showcase VERSE, Jill will present a Fine Art Photography series titled 'Childhood'. This series endeavours to capture the innocence of young childhood, in its purest form, and highlight the beauty of sensory experiences. In addition to this body of work, Jill is developing a series inspired by her natural surroundings and play of light. These works will also be available for viewing at the show. All of Jill's work are photographed using a Digital camera and produced with minimal editing.
