Visual Art – Los Angeles

Art is my purpose. I have learned through immense pain and joy that few things are in our control. The only things we control are our thoughts and the actions that are derived from those thoughts. I have been blessed with a perspective that has allowed me to see my dreams manifesting all around me. Every morning I wake up, work out, make a cup of coffee, then sit at my desk and fill a page in my gratitude journal. This is my map. It allows me to reinforce my faith and sense of gratitude for my purpose. I write down things I want to have, feel, or do as if they happened already. I arrived at a moment in my life where I felt I finally “figured it out.” I do my best to live through love and a responsibility that not only as an artist, but also as a powerful human I have the ability to affect the people around me in profound ways. I’ve learned to see myself in everything and everything in myself. When you stop allowing preconceived constructs to frame your existence, this doesn’t seem so hard to do. I believe we are all Gandhi and Hitler in one. We are all capable of both good and bad deeds. We always have choices. When I began to foster this belief that I am everything and everything is me I started to feel less burdened by judgment. This allowed me to love the world around me and genuinely begin to love myself. I’m here to inspire through art and by living by example. All creation starts in the mind’s eye and I’ve chosen to love, live, and be grateful for a life worth living.
