John Lawton

I am a self taught guitarist and singer. I started my music adventures playing piano and was classically trained I added Saxophone in the 5th grade and was classically trained on that as well. I picked up guitar after hearing Stevie Ray Vaughan\'s Greatest Hits 2. I didn\'t take lessons for guitar I wanted it to be an honest emotional outlet for me instead of someone telling me how I was supposed to phrase this or that. I played lead guitar in a couple bands before I started writing my own songs and crafting lyrics and realized that I wanted to be the one conveying my messages to audiences. So I started to work on my voice. Music is my absolute passion. I want the music I create to reach people and change their lives in the same way that my favorite artists have changed mine.
