Photography – Newcastle
Hello. My name is Joel and I am from Newcastle NSW Australia. I am full time pernament language teacher in Newcastle and have been in this profession for 2 years. I come from a hospitality background and got involved in photography when I started to shoot the dishes for the Restaurant I was working at. I still shoot the images for the Restaurant today which is called Nagisa (you might of heard of it if you're from Newcastle). I eventually started to help promote the events in Newcastle that Nagisa was apart of such as Winter Heat and the Newcastle Beer Fest. In promoting these events we decided to buy a drone to help with those "cool" shots and aerial videos to help with Facebook campaigns. I then discovered a passion for drone flying and loved the images that I was capturing of Newcastle and started to upload them to Instagram. My photos started to get a bit of attention from family and friends and as recommended by so many people I decided to start printing them and selling them online.
