Visual Art – Boston
My name is Joey Free and I am a visual artist based out of Boston MA. I specialize and focus in abstract paintings using mostly acrylics and spray paint, although my work spans many different mediums and styles such as; Portaits, cartoon/anime art, collage, graffiti lettering etc. In addition to painting I also create hip hop music and poetry. Hip hop culture has played a significant role in my development as an artist and continues to inspire me in many ways. As an artist my intention is not only to create stunning visual content that stimulates the mind and soul of the viewer, but also to raise awareness of the many social and worldly issues that confront us as a people on a daily basis.
