Designer, Jo: Born and raised on the Hawaiian island of Kauai in the harbor area of Nawiliwili. Graduated from Kauai High School and moved to Honolulu to attend the University of Hawaii at Manoa. Majored in Art & Journalism. Opened and ran a home decorating and floral shop and closed the storefront in 2007, with over 20 years experience in home decorating and florist work. In 2006, was hired to decorate the master bedroom of the late actress; Elizabeth Taylor at her Kahala, Hawaii home. Did the Christmas Wreath shows at Macy\'s Ala Moana Store for 6 years. Despite the love of floral and home decorating work, Crochet is the foremost passion and love of the designer\'s life. \'Crochet is just part of who I am .\" Designer is of Native Hawaiian and Chinese descent and it was thru her late mother who taught her to crochet from the age of 9 years old.
