I'm an internationally published, portrait, fashion, glamour, and sometimes celebrity photographer/retoucher who splits time between the coasts. My love for photography began around the age of seven with a tiny throw away camera and has since blossomed into a full-time (and lifelong!) passion. When I really began taking photography seriously, I had initially started as a landscape photographer but after discovering the work of Jaime Ibarra, I decided that chasing the human spirit was more my thing - and that has proven to be true. One of my favorite things to do is to listen to people's stories; how they got to where they are, what they've seen/done, where they've been in the world, what their trips meant to them and most importantly, how they personally view the world around them. For me, it's important to highlight the every day beauty that surrounds us - in the people we meet - and the world that we live in. This life is our book, a canvas, a place where we get to create ourselves and help others do the same. In my work I try to capture the very essence of a person - their authenticity and their story. I believe that everyone has a significant story to tell. Because of this, I put a lot into everything I do and I can only hope that those that view my work can see the effort that was put in to depict the human spirit. None of my work would be possible, however, without the incredible teachers that I have had - Jaime Ibarra, Charles Lucima, Lara Jade, Alex Manfredini and Charles Hildreth - nor would it be possible without the love and support of my client base, models and fans.
