Jose Grande Gomez was born in Queens, New York in 1992, and has been residing in Charlotte, North Carolina for eighteen years. Grande Gomez received his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree, with the concentration in Painting and Drawing, from East Carolina University in 2014. While in school, he had the opportunity to work in various traditional media such as charcoal, ink, acrylic, oil, and others. In recent years, his technical prowess has only improved with practice and dedication. Jose is dedicated to the aesthetics and craftsmanship that a work of Fine Art can possess.
Jose’s mission is to capture the essence of someone’s beauty or their surroundings so it can be remembered and acknowledged in the future. As an artist, Jose Grande Gomez is dedicating his life to this vivid career to continue evolving his practice.
