Visual Art – Indianapolis

I started drawing almost as soon as I could pick up a pencil. When I was four my dad decided to sit me down and teach me how to draw what I saw in front of me. From then on I was hooked. From there I got into comics and graphic novels, street art, low brow art, surrealism, pop art, and the macabre. In my early teens I found punk and grunge music. It lit a fire in me that crept into my art and every other part of my life. It made me want to take the rules I had learned in my art classes and turn them on their side. From then on it has become about figuring out what I want to say in a piece, and then finding a mixed up and twisted way for me to say it.
