Visual Art – Austin

After studying Commercial art and graphics at the Museum School of Art in Boston MA,I came back to Texas. My passion with art started at a very young age and Music and creating art is what has inspired me the most. A world without the arts is just a place of using work to secure survival of our most basic needs. Art, music, culture, these are what add meaning, beauty and interest to how we connect with one another and our surroundings. I am a product of Immigrant parents who passed down their traditions and instilled unique perspectives to my world. I was drawn to artists like Warhol, Basquiat , Peter Max, Charles M. Shulz, Dr.Seuss. I enjoyed the whimsical and lyrical way that they expressed serious and deep subjects. These artists impacted me and as a result, my aesthetic sensbilities continue to come from these components. Life is a journey and it continues to be until we reach our destinations...my artistic phyilosohpy is embedded in a desire to never stop learning and living to make more art so that I can help make a difference during my lifetime. The difference being, that as an artist we have an obligation to give the world an excuse to believe in the unknown and to let people know that we all share a unique perspective on how we see the world around us, without the fear of failing or being judged. Just let go, we could all use a little artistic expression!
