Visual Art – Washington, D.C.

I was born in the Philippines. I studied art at the University of Santo Thomas. I originated a form of art I call \"Dyslexart\". These are paintings that are mounted on turntables so they can be rotated by the viewer. Some of them are made up of three paintings all independently rotateable by the viewer. There is no wrong way to view my art. I came up with this idea as a result of my dyslexia, which makes me read words in scrambled order sometimes. I also create paintings that emerge (the fabric actually stretches) as the viewer rotates a wheel located behind the paintings. I also create paintings made up of several layers of plexiglass. Each one is painted separately which when combined, complete the paintings.
