Visual Art – Philadelphia
I am a University of Redlands, Studio Arts major ( and U of R tennis team player) and the creator of Jems and Jewels Shop on Etsy. I lived outside of Los Angeles for four years while getting my degree but just recently returned to Philadelphia, my hometown.
I spend most of my time dreaming up and executing terrarium or painting designs. I recently created Jems and Jewels Shop, where I sell various art pieces such as my paintings, terrariums, or jewelry. I usually work with succulents, desert plants, when making terrariums and organic art. Succulents, surviving extreme temperatures and lack of water in their natural habitat make great treasures for my work that are very forgiving and long lasting.
If I am not creating art, I am finding inspiration in nature, collecting flowers, plants, specimens, etc. I am a huge nature and animal rights activist. I tend to show that in my work as well.
