Performing Art – Los Angeles
Originally from Canada, I am now a contemporary dance choreographer and international master class teacher living in Los Angeles. I have been building my network in the dance world, now traveling all over north america, Australia, and Europe spreading my unique vocabulary of dance. I started my own Art company \"Art.uncensored\" last year, and we did our first full show choreographed and directed by me entitled \"DISORDER\". My work is based on the neurological phenomenon of Synesthesia (blending of senses. I.e. Seeing sound, hearing colors etc..) I incorporate animated audio visuals along with abstract choreography to give the audience a somewhat lucid and mind expansive experience! My goal is to spread Synesthesia awareness through art, as I myself is a Synesthete - I see sound as moving shape, color and texture, along with many other forms of cross-wiring in my brain. I also want to create an atmosphere where the concept of \"normal\" is so far from anything in existence of what we are experiencing.
