Jules Victor

I'm an emerging artist in Philadelphia, getting ready to jump into the real world. My work tends to show on the narrative side of things. It also has deep roots in the classic film era. I love to create a sense of story, and drama. I am always trying to make someone feel as if they are intruding on a moment, or peering through a window. However I try to give my photos a contemporary feel as well. I like to create contrast between different time periods in the same photo. Its gives them a sense of unreality. Playing with the line between fact, and fiction, is something I've always treasured. I also use all different types of photographic formats and processes, from 35mm to Large Format, to Digital. I've also worked in alternative processes such a Cyanotype, Palladium, and Salt Printing.
