Justin Burns

Since 1999 Justin and his twin bother pushed their dreams to be a professional band. Between Justin’s musical voyage, he decided to take a drawing class at Cedar Valley College as an elective to his other studies. He instantly fell in love with art making. Around the fall of 2008 Justin received a degree in Applied Sciences and transferred to the University of North Texas. Not knowing exactly what he wanted to do, he finally decided on a fine arts degree with an emphasis in drawing and painting. While perusing their dreams to be professional musicians, Justin’s band finally got signed to Island Def Jam/Mercury records in the fall of 2009. Justin had to put his education on the side to further his musical career. Though when Justin wasn’t in school, he found ways to do art for fans by doing contests and developing his painting skills on his free time. In the fall of 2009 through the spring of 2012 ,Justin\'s band set out for a new journey. This followed in two tours during the summer and winter of 2010. Justin had an experience of a lifetime, by traveling all over the country and meeting some great and amazing people along the way. However due to the economy decline the band had to be released of Island Def Jam/ Mercury due to finacial reason. Today Justin is back at UNT and finishing his degree while studying under world renowned artists.
