As an emerging contemporary modern dance company, JuxtaPosition Dance Theatre seeks to contribute to the vitality and enrichment of Southern California by creating intellectual, accessible, relatable, and aesthetically beautiful dances that resonate with the audience. We seek to break the barriers of traditional stereotypes in dance by creating performance and training opportunities for dancers of various backgrounds, abilities, shapes and sizes. And we seek to engage our community by bringing dance education to underserved and underprivileged youth.
