Visual Art – Melbourne

A born-and-raised Kiwi, I grew up in Pukekohe, a cool little town 50km south of Auckland, New Zealand. There, I spent the large part of my primary school days indulging my enthusiasm for all things arty. This meant spending far too much time ensuring my homework was sufficiently embellished, writing letters to Santa pestering him for new coloured pencils, and doodling imaginary princesses. Many years later, I found myself with a degree in economics and politics, and subsequently moved to Wellington where I resided for three years before upping and moving to Melbourne. While my days are spent working with an awesome team solving pressing policy issues, the creative bug has never left me, and my evenings are spent immersed in ink, graphite and paint, creating beautiful things for beautiful people. I recently took the plunge and built a website, through which I hope to develop my skills, grow my brand and profile as an artist and help transform the visions of others into and illustrated reality. I also hope to highlight the incredible work of various organisations, charities and advocacy groups through my project 'Little Paintings for Big Causes', which features small, themed collections of limited edition fine art prints, with a portion of each pint sold being donated to charity.
