Visual Art – Jersey City

I\'m a twenty-something year old globe-trotter who can\'t get over how big this world is. I\'m hungry for history, culture and psychology that drive my work and I\'m always looking out for whatever else is going to get my gears turning. I\'m trained in various forms of painting from more western uses of oil and acrylic paint to traditional Chinese ink painting and Persian/Indian miniature painting. I have degrees in fine art, art history and Asian studies. As an undergrad I studied art abroad in China and Italy and later had an art-related internship that landed me briefly in India. Art is something that has brought me more opportunities than most, and it has taken me to places about which some people only dream. For such reasons I respect art and all the hardships those who practice it face in their quests for enhancing skills, opening minds and achieving success. Of all the reasons I could point out behind why I make the work I do, the main one is that I do it simply because I can. I want to create things that broaden how we perceive various aspects of the world and life in general.
