Ok, I\'m not really starving but it\'s because I am married to a talented plumber. I studied business and I have a couple of business degrees but I decided I hated corporate america because there isn\'t enough creative freedom allowed and compliance with the status-quo is rewarded whereas innovation is often too difficult to accomplish. After a 2-year stint with back surgery and a long recovery, I decided instead of going back to a full-time office job, I would attempt to build a career out of my hobbies. I have been a crafter and an artistic photographer most of my adult life. I recently (2009) started making jewelry and discovered something called assemblage art which I LOVE and I have mixed this concept into my jewelry making. I make different kinds of jewelry including simple & modern, wedding-worthy and artistic jewelry. I have a goal of working more with plastics, fiber and sculpture. I take custom orders and can work with you to come up with the perfect one-of-a-kind statement piece, wedding jewelry for the bride or bridesmaids or whatever your mind (and mine!) can dream up together. I live with my husband and my dog in Columbia, MD. I travel a few times a year to spend time with my family and the rest of my time is dedicated to staying physically active, making jewelry and taking photos!
