Visual Art – Brisbane
I'm basically an all rounder of creativity, I've tried to do as much as I can to broaden my scope and finally find my own "secret practice". I can sing, play guitar, sew, embroider, knit and crochet but I primarily make hand cut paper collages.
The images used in my collages are mainly sourced from National Geographics and only tape is used to adhere the images together.
The reason I like paper collage so much is because, unlike on the computer, I can't just resize the image, change the colour or manipulate any of its fundamental aspects, it all just has to naturally fit and blend.
