Kat Stellar grew up in the craft stores of Metro Detroit, with her mother, an arts and crafts extraordinaire. She spent most of her life ballet dancing and exploring a range of creative mediums. It was 2004 when her love for the paintbrush manifested. She still continues to paint everyday and also live at festivals and local events. A ballerina turned artist, performance and technique is how she tries to brings art to the next level. Her studies have continued at The Chapel of Sacred Mirrors, studying techniques such as the "mischtechnik" and using art as a form of prayer and meditation. Kat has also helped raise money for charities such as Little Kids Rock, Music in Schools Program, and Standing Rock, by auctioning her art work.
