Kayt Luree

Kayt Luree is a Southern California Born, Lake Tahoe raised Artist, that has been Portland local for 4 years to continue the pursuit of creation. Kayt has been all over the west coast studying various forms of art including film, photography, design, theater, and fine arts. She studied film at the Art Institute of Los Angeles discovering love for video Installations and performance arts. From there, she went on to work in the fashion industry shooting runway shows in Los Angeles, San Francisco, and New York. She then went on to work on self awareness and more self discovery back in her home town in the Tahoe/Reno area. Finding beautiful people and self awakening, she then moved on to find her home in Portland Oregon, where she now works on various art and music projects in and around the city of Portland. Her style is best described as surrealism in the forms (or rather deforms) of human figures. She uses geometrical shapes and lines to form these surrealistic illustrations. her main mediums are charcoal, pen, water color and acrylic. In her favorite D\'vinci quote, \"Ancora Imparo\" which means, \"I am still learning\", she lives just like that. Constantly trying to recreate herself and find the good in all, Never letting the power of learning go to waste. Awareness is the most beautiful art form.
