KB Custom Leather

Accessories – Omaha

Growing up, I spent a lot of time in and around the rodeo arena. It wasn't until after high school that I decide to try my hand at saddle bronc riding. After only riding a couple short years, I encountered an injury that kept me away from bucking horses entirely. Being overwhelmed with the thought that I'd never get to keep after my dream of riding bucking horses, I tried to redirect my passions elsewhere into something that would bring me just as much pride as riding. Thinking back to the equipment I needed to fuel my rodeo passion, I decided a way to stay around the arena was to start customizing leather goods. I began making small things such as spur straps with little to no tooling design, just to serve the purpose they were intended for. The more custom projects I do, the more I try to incorporate my ability and love of art into each piece. I have found that I am an extreme perfectionist with my leather craft and design. Although I still hand craft every part of my leather work down to the stitching, every piece I craft as if it were for myself.
