Photography – San Diego
I am Kellie: 5’2 and 100 pounds but filled with unlimited passion. I am a Naval Officer recently stationed in Columbus, OH but have incredible drive to make time for my photography passion. Although I have been taking pictures since I was 12 years old, there were too many personal millstones and financial barriers that kept me from perusing my dream of photography. After I graduated from the Naval Academy and finally settled into my first duty station in San Diego, I decided to crack my bank account and purchase my first full-frame camera and pursue the one thing that always made me truly happy. God has been pushing me in the direction of photography since I was a little girl but guided me to be patient, wait until the time was perfect for me to start my business. I am so grateful I did because within 2 years I’ve grown from begging friends to let me take photos of them, to balancing 3-4 photo-shoots a week and meeting the most wonderful clients. I encourage everyone to truly follow their passion, talents, and creative minds toward something you really desire. Photography has followed me throughout my life, but now photography has become my life. Thank you to all my friends, family and most of all, my clients for continuing to fuel my desire to do this!
