Kevin Owen

My name is Kevin Owen. I was born in Jackson Mississippi. I am a performing singer in a touring band and a painter. I moved to Nashville 4 years ago because of the music buisiness. When im not touring rehearsing and writing im painting incessantly. I was born to create and I must create every day to feel alive. I have studied art and music since i was born. My parents both incouraged my artistic abilities from a very young age. I began working with a private art teacher at age 9 and was achieving arwards and recognition in art by age 7. In the 4th grade I did a still life that will hang forever in the governers mansion in Denver Colorado where I spent the majority of my youth. I also had the opportunity to study art and sculpture at the university of denver in the second and third grade which really fueled my love for art and showed me many different mediums ive continued to use throughout my life. My story is a million miles long but in 250 words or less this is but a tiny window into my life.
