Accessories – San Diego

I was born and raised in San Diego, California. My parents immigrated here from the Philippines. My mom was a Secondary Science School Teacher and my dad served in the United States Navy. I am the middle child of three siblings, whom of which are artists in their own right. I am a self taught jewelry artist. I began making jewelry while a chemistry major at San Diego State University. Although I loved science my passion for the arts could not be denied. During my senior year at SDSU, I switched majors from Chemistry to Art with an Emphasis in Painting and Printmaking. Since graduating from SDSU, I've worked within the Hospital, Biotech and Medical Device Industry. Today, I create jewelry pieces within my home studio in San Diego, California. My jewelry is an organic line using Swarovski and Natural Gemstones; mixed metals of Sterling and Argentium Silver, Brass, 14K Gold and Gold Fill, and 22K Gold PMC. I begin my jewelry piece with a thought and from there let my hands and raw materials take its own course. Its a process that takes on a life of its own. My jewelry pieces celebrate the raw beauty from within.
