Visual Art – Portland

I came into art late. I did not grow up sketching or doodling and had not actively held a paintbrush until I was an adult. At the age of twenty-five I went back to college to the University of Oregon where I studied Sculpture. Like most gateway drugs, one medium of art led to another and here I am painting.  For me, finding art was like coming home. Suddenly I was truly living in the world and now I know that my most authentic expression of self is through my art. I live and paint in Northeast Portland where I maintain a small property full of chickens, dogs and bees.
