Konyin Ayuba

Nigerian born artist Konyin has been a creative artist most of her life and has added painting to her long list of artistic talents and gifts. Drawing out the organic nature of shapes lights and colors with seamless continuity, her paintings invoke feelings of warmth. Through the layers of neutral color screams a vibrancy that is not usually associated with pale beige and brown. Through her manipulation of color and use of line she brings attention and life to what would normally go unseen. Using acrylics and watercolors as her media, she prods her audience into a world that seems soft, but has a pulsing undercurrent of energy.
