Beauty – Phoenix
I have spent the last 4 working as an up and coming new makeup artist in the Phoenix Metro area. Growing up I found great passion and enjoyment in visual artistry including drawing and painting. I continued to explore my passion and incorporated those mediums with another love, makeup.
Initially I entered the cosmetics industry from the management angle, utilizing my Bachelor of Business Administration and Management degree that I received from Northern Arizona University. Whilst working for a large retailer as part of their leadership team I realized I belonged in front of my clients, face to face becoming a part of their special memory.
Since that time, I have worked for large cosmetics retailers such as Dillard’s and Sephora as an Artist; as well as a freelance artist where, during an event had the pleasure of meeting two great artist named Vanessa and Poojah. The creative chemistry was instant and I joined Makiaj Beauty in Old Town Scottsdale. At Makiaj, I work alongside the owner Poojah where we specialize in not only American, but Southeast Asian bridal looks.
At this present time, I continue to work in Oldtown Scottsdale working on bettering my craft, as well as discovering and venturing into new mediums of makeup such as Sfx, avant garde and editorial style artistry.
